Due to the mass amount of information it is so tempting to accept information without proper documentation. We are taking this one step at a time and making sure we source each piece of information.
The community of genealogist are all willing to share their wealth of knowledge……it is amazing how they help each other……all you have to do is ask!
Here are a couple of great resources that have helped me:
- Seeking Our Twigs – Yahoo Group – Great group of members. I learned about some resources at my local library such as…..HeritageQuest Online!
- Find A Grave – Wonderful – I have found several of my ancestors. You can request photos and volunteers are ready to full fill your request!
- Shelby County Register of Deeds – I found death certificates and marriage records on several of our Tennessee Ancestors.
